How approvals and reminders work

Updated Oct 9, 2026 · 1 min read

Every post moves through the same review steps on its way to being published. Your team reviews first, then the client, and nothing reaches a client before Client review.

The review steps

  • Internal review: your team checks the post first.
  • Client review: the client has the post and can approve it or ask for changes.
  • Approved: the client signed off, and the post can be scheduled.
  • Changes requested: the post is back with your team.

Feedback belongs to the media it was written on. When you upload revised media it becomes a new version, and the earlier feedback stays readable against the media it was written on.

Approving from email

When a post goes to Client review, the client gets an email with a preview of the post and two buttons: Approve and Leave revision notes. Approve takes them to Mira, confirms they are signed in, then records the approval. Leave revision notes opens the full review on that exact post.

Reminders

Mira reminds clients about posts that are still waiting for them, so you do not have to chase. A reminder is one email that lists everything still waiting, rather than one email per post.

You choose how often, per client: Off, Daily, Every 2 days or Weekly. Set the default for every client in Settings, under Agency, then change it for one client in that client's settings, under Approvals. Reminders stop as soon as a post is approved or has changes requested.
